Suggestions:
1: Refactor auto click upgrade to only be active while holding down click/tap, instead of always, and have a green bar for ‘energy’ that recharges while not auto clicking (Just the first part would be nice)
2: Implement regular autoclicker implementation (This really isn’t needed to be honest…)
₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
Potential bugs:
Blocks stop the swipe gesture - I’m unsure if this is intended or not, but swiping on blocks does nothing. Swiping on the background does scroll, however.
Some “immortal” blocks - Almost definitely a bug. This guy right here just cannot be broken. It seems like a problem of this pickaxe icon above it.
Some extra info: No minions purchased, OS: Windows, No prestiges yet
I WILL COME BACK WITH A REPLY WITH MORE, THIS IS JUST AFTER A FEW MINUTES. THIS IS COOL SO FAR THO!
The REPLY!

Solid update. Removing the random upgrades for the miners is nice, the prestige is awesome. The auto click upgrade is great. Thank you for implementing the swipe to scroll! (unless it was there all along and I’m crazy!) Keep it up, this is great. Now allow me to yap.

Potential issues
Prestige menu specific
This probably shouldn’t be -1
The animation of the spin on tooltips is definitely WAY too much visually… especially on large displays.
Bought upgrades should be distinguishable from buyable upgrades (ie locked = black, buyable = red, bought = green)
An emerald (I think that’s what the currency is right?) display, smaller and below the coin display
Other:
The minion count upgrade is incorrect occasionally (It will say 3 >> 5 then upgrading makes it go 4 >> 6, for example) ₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
Suggestions
Dirt, stone, and so on should have a small value imo. Like 1 from dirt, 3 from stone. I think it would increase the engagement and lil dopamine rush from the coins more.
The blocks could also shrink from damage some, kind of like how they do in the click animation at first? This might be annoying to implement, so don’t sweat it if you don’t wanna.
Add some deadzone to the scroll so clicking and moving from ore to ore at the same time isn’t potentially gonna scroll. Something like 50 deadzone. If you’re using a scroll container directly, you can implement it easily. If it’s your own system… let me know, cause I have code for that kind of thing just lying around for some reason :)
Once you prestige once, you should be able to access the menu to view your upgrades whenever you want.
This one’s a big option but with the prestige, I think saving and loading is a worthy investment. ₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
You got some really good ideas ! This will definitely improve the overall game :)))
I think the ones that I will stick with are:
Overall, I really liked all these new ideas. I really think this will add a lot of value to the game. I'm very grateful !
I'll definitely bother you next month haha. Thanks !!!
the audio doesn't stay muted through prestiges btw
Whops, gonna fix that. Thx !
If you have any ideas about which direction you'd like the game to grow, I'd love to hear them. And if the game crashes when a new biome is created, I'm really sorry — there are still a lot of things I need to fix. Thanks so much for your patience!
This game is so great!!! I just went to try it out and played for about 30 minutes haha
that’s great glad u enjoyed!! next update is almost ready, wanna hear what u think when its out :D
Yup, turns out the integer overflow only takes maybe 15 minutes past the end. Still kinda funny, though. Those pickaxe upgrades I think are getting exponentially stronger or something.
Fun game overall, a nice little idle game to pass the time.
Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it! I’m working on an update soon, and I’d love to get your feedback on it once it’s out :D
hahaha omg, how long did it take? xd
BAHAHA thats actually impressive, as far as i know, you have to get farther than like 5 G and thats after the M letter xD
Hi! I love the new design!
Just a heads up, The game soft-locked itself after 30-45min of gameplay. I have a suspicion it's due to an integer overflow, as I upgraded the miners with a pickaxe for quite a few times, and their damage value got higher than the highest value of an integer. You should definitely cap the min/max values, so they wouldn't overflow!
Hi Pizza Doggy!
Thanks so much for the support, seriously — it really caught me by surprise and I appreciate it a ton xD.
And yeah, about what you mentioned: you’re totally right, that overflow issue is definitely something I need to fix. I’ll make sure to cap the values in a future update so it doesn’t soft-lock like that again. Thanks a lot for pointing it out!
By the way, your track Wanderer’s Tale has been a huge inspiration for me, it basically shaped the whole cozy vibe of Digo!. I know you don’t usually take commissions (and I totally respect that), but if you’d ever consider making something similar for the game, it would honestly mean the world to me. Of course, no rush at all — I don’t plan to release the full game for at least another three months. Totally fine if not, I just wanted to ask politely :D
You're welcome!
The track gets pretty repetitive after a while, so more tracks would definitely be great! Even some of the other ones from the Cozy Tunes pack might work too.
I'll be slowly adding more tracks to the Cozy Tunes audio pack, so some of the new ones might be what you're looking for, as I have to avoid doing commission work, in order to get the more important work done on time.
The commission work is often specific to one project, and I cannot include this kind of work into my asset packs due to the nature of the transaction between me and the person hiring me. It also somewhat limits the creativity process to whatever the person hiring you have on their mind.
In my particular circumstances this would have quite a few drawbacks, and make doing it not as enjoyable as it is right now, so I'd like to stay away from doing commission work!
No worries at all, I completely understand your position and I really respect that! Thanks a lot for taking the time, and also for everything you’ve already done — your music and support mean a lot, and I really appreciate itt
Love the style, love the music.. just a chill relaxing game.. a skill tree or a prestige system after completion would be nice. either way, really good game
Yes! I’ve been thinking a lot about the progression system. Here’s one idea:
When you destroy the last layer of a tower → a new tower of sand for example appears with much more HP (maybe +100%), and the previous tower also respawns with around +25% more HP. In the new tower you don’t have miners yet, so you’ll need to save some money and buy new miners, basically restarting the cycle — while your previous miners keep digging in the first tower.
For every tower you destroy, you’d earn a special “biome coin” for the prestige tree. If you ever feel stuck, you can prestige using the coins you’ve collected and go faster and further in the next run.
What do you think about this system? I’d love to hear your opinion! :D
Yes!! this sounds like typical incremental progression so I'm not opposed to any of that idea at all 😁
an addition i might add would be adding a different kind of miner either stronger or faster that can be transferred to each tower, like an elder miner or a dwarf per say.. anyway i already like the game so any improvement to it would be very enjoyable honestly.. keep up the good work, I'm gonna be looking forward to each update 😁
Hi ! I've just updated, I added more content and the prestige tree we talked about. I Would like you to try it and let me know what you think about all of it. Thank you so much !
Hey! I've played the game again for a good 2 hours this time :D
I love the visual improvements you've made with the game!!. The rotating screen is a new addition from the first version if i remember correctly. While i think it does help the player, i think there should be an option to let it automatically rotate or not. It made me dizzy grinding for biome coins as it continuously rotate lol. So either add a sensitivity option to it or just let the player decide to rotate it manually.
I do love the prestige tree but i think the pace of the game doesn't progress a lot quicker as you prestige the first time. So maybe make the prestige tree cheaper or increase the effects making it feel more effective the first time around, like maybe making the click area earlier rather than later. Oh, and a confirmation button before prestiging would be a good help considering this is a clicker game and you might click it accidentally. The second biome is a nice touch too but maybe an arrow to transfer to another one might be nicer rather than clicking on it directly.
There were some bugs i did notice. I experienced a block not despawning for some reason and just hovered there endlessly lol. also, i don't know if it's a bug but when i tried to upgrade the miner damage it says from 26>81 but it just upgraded to 27. I've also gained biome coins from the next biomes but had no use for it.
I still love the concept of the game, pretty relaxing, music and sound effects are still so nice. Good job in the update hope to see more :D
Thanks a lot, that’s super helpful ! You’re right, the prestige system still needs some work to feel more rewarding, but I think it’s heading in the right direction now. Really appreciate you taking the time to play and leave some feedback :D
for a browser gamne it slows my vomputer really bad. optimization in future update?
Hey, thanks for pointing that out! xD Right now I can only think about a menu for removing shadows and lighting, but I’ll check the code to see what else I can improve. Really appreciate the feedback, it helps me a lotT
Part 1: the good/review.
This is really fun. Like, this would be the only game on my phone if I were out and about and wanted to pass the time fun (please make a mobile port one day), or have constantly open in the background like I do cookie clicker. UI is good, gameplay is fun, etc. For a prototype/in development game this is great. Even for just a short game it is. It’s also made in Godot, which is incredibly based. Favorite game engine for sure.
intermission…
Now, with that in mind, let me complain juuuuuuuust a little. Anything I complain about is going to come along with a potential fix because… I’d feel bad about complaining otherwise xD
Part 2: The complaints
AudioSlider is broken because it’s max value is 100 instead of 1. linear_to_db expects a value between 0 and 1 with 0 representing muted and 1 representing full volume. The sliders having a max of 100 means that the max volume is ear piercing audio distorting death
The number units are following the metric system, which is probably fine but personally as someone who plays a lot of incremental games I think an option to switch to abbreviations of the short scale (m for million, b for billion, t for trillion, qd, qn, and so on.)
The miner’s scaling with the upgrade items is… off. I do not have any idea on this one, honestly. I just know that I spammed the upgrade hammer, did a couple loops of the game, and by the time the miners were level like 15 they were doing 10T+ damage in 100+ area
Lastly (this one is gonna be fixed just by having more development time I’m guessing so this one is lighthearted) there’s not enough stufffff I had so much fun clickin away and I got to the end in like 30 minutes
Seriously though, this game is awesome. And sorry if it’s weird that I poked around the code to find some stuff out (like what was up with the volume). I uh… had nothing better to do.
Hey, thanks a lot for writing all this, really appreciate it! xD
I’m now aware of those problems and your ideas help me a lot. The mobile version sounds like a super good idea too.
This is my first time making an incremental game, so comments like these help me improve a ton. I’d love to keep getting your feedback, so stay tuned for the updates! Thanks again :D
A lot changed in the moments I were gone, wow. It looks like the SFX bar still has the issue of changing volume to a much higher scale than it should and is effecting global volume, but the other two bars are fixed.
Also, your dev-log has the old version of the game. You may want to edit it.
All looks good! Hope to see saving in the next version, and maybe more layers.
For a first incremental, this is lovely.
Best of luck, and cheers. Will check in later.
Hey! The update’s out. I’ve fixed everything I could. I’d love to hear what you think about the changes. Thanks a lot!
Time for some playtesting…
The polish on the UI is crazy. In general, chill experience
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
